Hello 24!
March 17th was my birthday.
This year, in a moment so delicate that it didn’t give myself time to live or fully perceive the celebrations, even if I had many people who did everything to surprise me and show me love, I tried to absorb it all, despite the day is not gone as I’d have liked.
I treasure all the joy and small moments, I don’t leave anything out.
My father has been bedridden for 3 months now and I’ve paused work, dreams, life to dedicate myself to him. Make him eat, take him to the hospital, help him walk.
I thank life for every new day and for these 24 intense years of life, growth and infinite love.
I spent 7 hours making this cake with pan di stelle (they are biscuits), cream, dyes and brushes.
This was one of Mom’s favorites paintings and mine too, Van Gogh, a tribute to thank her for being the person of my life.
Thanks to my sister who took these photos and is my motivation to live.

Il 17 marzo è stato il mio compleanno.
Quest’anno, in un momento così delicato da non avermi dato il tempo di vivere o percepire appieno i festeggiamenti, anche se ho avuto tante persone che hanno fatto di tutto per sorprendermi e dimostrarmi amore, ho cercato di assorbirlo tutto nonostante la giornata non sia andata come avrei voluto.
Faccio tesoro di tutta la gioia e dei piccoli momenti, non tralascio nulla.
Mio padre è allettato da tre mesi e io ho messo in pausa lavoro, sogni, vita per dedicarmi a lui. Farlo mangiare, portarlo in ospedale, aiutarlo a camminare.
Ringrazio la vita per ogni giorno nuovo e per questi 24 intensi anni di vita, crescita e amore infinito.
Ho impiegato 7 ore a realizzare questa torta con pan di stelle, panna, coloranti e pennelli.
Questo era uno dei quadri preferiti di Mamma e mio, Van Gogh, un omaggio per ringraziarla di essere stata la persona della mia vita.
Grazie a mia sorella che ha scattato queste foto ed è il mio sprono a vivere.

Oh my goodness happy birthday! Love your outfit (those pictures with the balloons are super cute!) and I am completely in awe of your cake decorating skills – I thought me spending 5 hours making a cake was a struggle, let alone 7! Totally worth it though as the effect is absolutely stunning – I knew instantly what the painting was.
