Flamingos dance.
And it’s one of the most harmonious shows in nature.
At every spring blows into them this talent that enchants nature. Hundreds of pink birds starting to sing and dance (from here flamingo dance is born).
When a flamingo recognizes itself in another’s movements, a bond is born that will last all life.
Can there be a more romantic encounter?
Rediscover yourself in a dance is like talking from soul to soul, because when dancing there are no words or constructions or inventions. There are you and your eyes.
This means that each of them moves differently from the others.
And that love means recognize each other, only this: recognize that we are.
Existence, although difficult, preserves infinite poetry.
The flamingos are born white – purity – and they become pink or red over time. The degree of rositude indicates their well-being. Actually, the flamingo body can’t assimilate the carotenoids (which determine this color) of the pink shrimp they eat and so place them on the ends of its feathers.
What we see as an enchantment is actually a rejected of the digestive system.
Here is another thing we should learn from them: what we can’t digest about life – that hurts – we should be able to turn it into beauty, into a point of strength. Transform the negative into positive.

PS. We took these photos in the place where I live, a couple of weeks ago, and it was my last dip in the pool. Summer is over.
It was nice to have my sister (@ s.abagnale) for the shooting with us for the first time.

I fenicotteri danzano.
Ed è uno degli spettacoli più armoniosi della natura.
Ogni primavera sboccia in loro questo talento che incanta la natura. Centinaia di uccelli rosa che iniziano a cantare e ballare (da qui nasce la danza flamingo).
Quando un fenicottero si riconosce nei movimenti di un altro, nasce un legame che dura tutta la vita.
Può esistere incontro più romantico?
Riscoprirsi in una danza è come parlare da anima ad anima, perchè quando danzi non ci sono parole o costruzioni o invenzioni. Ci sei tu e i tuoi occhi.
Questo significa che ognuno di loro si muove diversamente dagli altri. E che l’amore è riconoscersi, solo questo: riconoscersi.
L’esistenza, per quanto dura, conserva un’infinita poesia.
I fenicotteri nascono bianchi – purezza – e diventano rosa o rossi col tempo. Il grado di rositudine indica il loro benessere.
In realtà l’organismo del fenicottero non riesce ad assimilare i carotenoidi (che determinano questo colore) dei gameretti rosa che mangiano e allora li posiziona sulle estremità delle sue piume.
Quello che noi vediamo come un incanto, è in realtà un reietto dell’apparato digerente.
Ecco un’altra cosa che dovremmo imparare da loro: quello che della vita non riusciamo a digerire – ci fa male – dovremmo riuscire a trasformarlo in bellezza, in punto di forza. Trasformare il negativo in positivo.

PS. Queste foto le abbiamo scattate nel parco in cui vivo un paio di settimane fe, e sono coincise con il mio ultimo tuffo in piscina. L’estate è finita.
È stato piacevole avere anche mia sorella (@s.abagnale) per lo shooting con noi per la prima volta.

Flamingos are such beautiful and elegant birds. Thank you for sharing those great facts, I recently learned that the pinkest birds have the highest status in the colony as the bright colour shows that a particular individual is strong and good at finding food resources. So amazing.
