THE GREAT WAVE

It’s important to reflect and push to the deep meaning of things. Ask. Understand.
This life is a sailing offshore. You can stay idle and live it all without anything but the perception of apparent horizons. A fluid flow of days on days, waves on houres, people on situations.
But if only you had the courage to immerse yourself… To dip you deep. To swim seven leagues under the seas, where the sun doesn’t arrive but overwhelms the dense darkness that swallows the light and releases fear.
Through despair, terror, no air in the lungs, the pressure that crushes the brain, death on you. There, only there, you would discover yourself. You would find the strength and desire of pure survival, anger and determination. And the gills would spit on you, and the ability to cross the dark pain, and that death mound would stick to the skin like the slimy malt of fish -cause you would learn to live with death on you without fear, and you know what exists beyond suffering, beyond the nothingness: the depths of your soul.
The abysses that live in their own light, unknown and beautiful, solitary.
Wonders that shine your eyes. A knowledge that allows you to approach your life differently, you understand the meaning, perceive its weight, understand the direction.

There, there you are. You find yourself, and your place in the perception of life.
You find out how life can be light in the absence of gravity. How far it all goes below what they did to believe us, while reality was a river hundreds of miles in the subsoil. Abyss is the place where the concrete is preserved.
You learn the importance of yourself. How much power do you have inside. How much life is a solitary journey in yourself and how much we ourselves are the only ones who will stay with us forever. And you have to love yourself.

You would have remained on that boat, in the flat calm, without thinking, without desire, without life, in the passivity of running your days just the same and insipid, if you ever dived.
Have the courage.

I couldn’t have a better idea for the post with this gorgeous kimono that Shein sent me depicting The Great Wave off Kanokawa of Hokusai, a woodcut I’ve always loved, entering into the world’s artistic culture. It represents one of thirty-six Mount Fuji’s views, although in the mass culture this element is often overlooked, symbolizing the dichotomy between sacredness and life.
Shein always surprised me for the excellent value for money, as well as the originality of the garments. Have you ever purchased from this site? There are early Summer News!

You surprise me each time anew by your writing, your sentiment, the music to your language. Not only that, but your outfits are always flawless and innovative. You must lead quite an interesting life with many twists and turns to be able to create something with such depth, and to look at an outfit and see more than just some matching clothes, but rather honestly? A work of art.

Your words are the ones that strike me more and more than everyone else, and those I read with greater sincerity. I thank you every time for the time you invested reading and answering me, in this world where we all go in a hurry at the expense of the substance for appearance and we never stop to listening to others. You do it and I thank you heartily ❤️ xx
